Green River, Cody, Newcastle  and Douglas hosted racing events to start the XC season.

At Green River, Aubriana Schneider would win the girls race.   Aubirana clocked in first at 22:35.   Caitlyn Jackson was runner up from Evanston.  For the boys, Josh Hartford of Green River went  17:45 to win.  Alvin Spoonhunter of Wyoming Indian was 2nd.

Teams competing were Green River,  Evanston, Rawlins, Wyoming Indian, Lyman, and Mountain View.  No team scores were available.

Laramie hosted an event at Happy Jack.   Abby Phillips of Gillette lead a 1-2-3-4 finish for the Lady Camels.    Jonah Henry of Laramie won the boys race.

 

At Douglas,  Selina Ramsey of Rock Springs was first for the girls.  The Natrona girls won the team title.    Ricky Faure was first as were the RS boys.     The race was on a new course in Douglas that the school hopes will host the state championships.

At the Cody X-traveganza,  Filly Junior Kimberly Holiday won the girls race.  In fact, Cody placed in each of the top seven places and not one of them was a Senior.   Cody, of course, won the girls race with 15 points.   On the Boys' side, Devyn Brotherson of Cody was first.  Cody also won the boy's team title.

At Newcastle, Shenae LaCroix and Justin Francis won on their home course at Camp Mallo.   Both were individual champions while no team scores were kept.
