There's been a changing of the guard as to who will oversee one of the best high school football games of the year.

The Annual meeting of the Wyoming Shrine Bowl, Board of Directors was held on Sunday, October 7, 2012.

The executive director of this event for the past 9 years, TJ Claunch tendered his resignation.

The Board accepted his resignation with much regret and thanked him for his many
years as executive director.

John Cundall, who has served as head football coach in both Gillette and Greybull, has accepted the open position as executive director.

John has been a part of the Wyoming Shrine Bowl for a number of years in the
past.

He served as head coach of the north team in 2001, 2004 and 2011 and also served as an assistant coach in 2003 and 2006.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this event.

In other business, the Board of Directors approved a motion to send $22,000.00 to Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake City.

This donation represents the net proceeds from this year’s event.

They would also like to say Thank You once again to the many sponsors, donors and attendees at this year’s event.

It is through all of their generous support and donations that we are able to hold this wonderful event every year.

The 2013 Wyoming Shrine Bowl is scheduled to be played on Saturday, June 8th at Natrona County High School, Dick Cheney Alumni Field.

Thanks to T.J. Claunch for providing the information.
