Douglas posted 23 wins this past season but 3A was a tough as nails group in 2020 which made for some entertaining volleyball. Douglas entered the state tournament as the #1 seed from the East and in the first round, the Bearcats took care of Lander 25-14, 25-17, and 25-17. Their semi-final match was far more difficult as eventual state champion Mountain View won that one in three straight, 25-23, 23-20, and 25-22. In the 3rd place match, the Cats faced another excellent team in Pinedale and, the Wranglers came away with a 25-18 23-25, 25-16 and, 25-23 win.

University of Wyoming bound Allyson Fertig and Casper College-bound Joslin Igo were both named all-state as well as Kamdynn Townsend. Chloe Collins was an all-conference selection and she was a junior this past season. But the Bearcats will have to replace five quality seniors so 2021 should be interesting.
