The regular season was a bit rough for Tongue River but their post-season produced some smiles. The big win in the Eagles season came in the Southeast quad regional when they upset the top-seeded team in the quad, Pine Bluffs 19-25, 25-17, 25-21, and 25-17. They did that in Pine Bluffs no less and qualified for the 2A State Tournament as a #4 seed.

At the state tourney, Tongue River lost their quarterfinal round match to Riverside 25-17, 25-19, 21-25, and 26-24. The Eagles rebounded with a 3 sets to none win over Greybull in the consolation round 25-22, 25-21, and 25-22. The season came to an end for Tongue River with a 25-19, 26-28, 25-15, and 29-27 loss to Glenrock to finish at 10-12.

The Eagles had an all-state performer in junior Carleigh Reish who was also named all-conference. She will be someone the team can build around for 2021 as the Eagles will have 5 seniors next season.
