In all of the 20 ranked teams in this weeks Coaches and Media girls basketball poll, only one wasn’t on the list last week.

#1s are again the same in East, Douglas, Tongue River and Cokeville. While Douglas and TR are unanimous favorites, four different teams got top votes in 4A. 1A has Cokeville and Lingle sharing 11 votes with the Lady Panthers getting 8.

The newcomer to the poll is in 3A where Buffalo replaces Torrington. The Bison are fifth, Lyman moves to fourth and Torrington is out. Douglas is still #1, Star Valley 2 and Rawlins is third. Big games on  Friday have #5 Buffalo at #1 Douglas then Saturday #2 Star Valley is at #4 Lyman

Cheyenne East remains on top of 4A with 10 of the 15 top votes. Gillette and Natrona go 2 and 3, each had 2 #1 ballots. Sheridan fourth and got 1 top vote. Laramie remains #5. #1 East has a tough weekend hosting #2 Gillette and #4 Sheridan.

2A has Tongue River unanimous at the top followed again by Lovell and Thermopolis. Burns and Wind River swap spots at 4 and 5. The weekend schedule does not have any games pitting ranked team vs. ranked team.

In the midst of a three game losing streak, Upton falls to fifth in 1A, by 1 vote ahead of 1 of the teams that beat them last week...Kaycee. Cokeville, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Little Snake River and Rock River go 1 through 4. Friday sees #3 Little Snake River at #1 Cokeville.
