The finalists for our Athlete of the Week honors have been chosen. This week’s field features a swimmer, volleyball and football players, and cross-country runners. You can vote for one of eight girls and one of seven boys in this week’s poll. After receiving nominations and considering the best performances for the week of Sept. 30 through Oct. 5, these are the contenders. Remember, only the last week’s performance is considered. Season totals and previous weeks are not considered for the weekly award. It is for one week at a time, and nominations for last week are closed!
