Not much change in the latest polls, but this is the last week of the regular season for 4A teams. We'll see what surprises can be pulled before the regional pairings are set.

Laramie is the unanimous #1 in the 4A poll, and has already locked up the top seed in the east. The Plainsmen have a little unfinished business this weekend, when they host now #5 Kelly Walsh...a team they played to a 0-0 tie last time. Riverton has #2 all to themselves and will take the #1 seed into the west regionals. The Wolverines visit #4 Natrona this weekend, to conclude conference play. Sheridan is #3 and will play in Cheyenne this weekend, against East and Central.

Like Laramie, Buffalo is the unanimous #1 in the 3A rankings. The Bison wrap up conference play this weekend at Newcastle and home vs. Douglas. Lander and Jackson remain at #2 and #3, after last week's tie game. Lander's schedule has them at #5 Worland on Thursday, home vs. Rawlins on Friday, and at #4 Cody, next Tuesday. Jackson will host #4 Cody and Powell this weekend, then play at Pinedale on Tuesday. Cody jumps over Worland for the #4 ranking, and will visit #3 Jackson and Pinedale this weekend, before returning home vs. #2 Lander on Tuesday. As for #5 Worland, the Warriors will host #2 Lander on Thursday, and then entertain Powell on Tuesday.

The battle for the top seed in the east, and the #1 ranking in the girls 4A poll could be decided on Friday. Gillette is back on top by 1 vote ahead of Central, and host the Lady Indians, followed by a Saturday visit from #4 East. East took over the #4 spot from #5 Sheridan, and the 2 teams will settle their difference on Friday in Sheridan. Then on Saturday, Sheridan will host Central. As for #3 Laramie, all they have on their schedule this weekend, is a road trip to Casper, to face Kelly Walsh.

No change in the girls 3A poll. #2 Jackson closed the gap on #1 Buffalo, but didn't get enough votes to take over the top spot. Cody, Lander and Torrington, round out the poll. 3 games to note...#3 Cody at #2 Jackson on Friday...#4 Lander at #3 Cody on Tuesday, then Lander visits Jackson next Thursday, in a make-up game.
