Each team had their own stand-out player, but one had a little better backup to help.

Mariah Robinson scored 29 points, including a perfect 13-of-13 from the free throw line, and Seren Chapin added 11 points, to help Buffalo defeated Lyman 58-53, in the first round of the 3A Girls Basketball State Tournament.

The difference was that the Lady Bison shot 37.3% from the field, whereas Lyman shot 29.8%.

McKinley Bradshaw had a double-double (32 points and 22 rebounds) for the Lady Eagles, and McKailey Bradshaw contributed with 13 points.
