The Buffalo-Jackson 3A playoff game was anticipated to be a tough encounter for both teams but it was Buffalo that prevailed 21-10 to advance to the semi-final round. Jackson notched a field goal from Braden Hills in the first quarter and Buffalo found the end zone in the 2nd quarter as Blake Bell turned in a pick-six that covered 45 yards so the Bison led 7-3 at the halftime intermission.

The teams traded touchdowns in the 3rd quarter as Jack Jenkins had a one-yard plunge for Jackson and Eli Patterson did the same for Buffalo. The difference in the game came in the 4th quarter as the Buffalo defense held Jackson scoreless and the Bison gave themselves some breathing room as Bell had a 16-yard run for a TD.

Buffalo is 6-3 and they have a supreme challenge this week in the 3A semi-final with a road game at #1 Cody. The Bison lost to the Broncs during the regular season 35-13. Jackson's season comes to an end at 4-6 and this is a program that made the 3A state championship game in 2020 and 2021.
