Choler Named New Natrona Boys Basketball Coach

Phil Choler will take over the reins for the Natrona Boys basketball program, replacing Shawn Gillum who stepped down after 10 years on the job.

Choler arrived in Casper 11 years ago to work in the front office of the Casper Ghosts baseball team. He migrated over to basketball and coached the Midwest boys for two seasons including a 23-5 campaign in 2011.

Choler has been working at Dean Morgan junior high and also helped out with the Casper College men's basketball staff. His main task now is to turn around a program that has absorbed four losing seasons in a row.
