Cody Boys Basketball Team Dodges Worland’s Upset Bid

Elijah Leyva got 2 desperation NBA-range 3's to drop, and Keegan Brown sank 2 free throws with 7 seconds to go, as Cody would rally for a 51-50 win vs. Worland at the State Tournament.

The Broncs also got more bench scoring, 13-6.

Worland had a better shooting percentage (48.7% vs. 34.8%), but the problem for the Warriors was they were 8 of 19 from the free throw line for the game (42.1%).

Leyva led Cody in scoring with 15 points.

Andrew Edholm had a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds), and Luke Mortimer put in 10 points for the Warriors.
