Cody’s Hunter Hayes Headed to Idaho State for Football
Cody quarterback Hunter Hayes will be a preferred walk-on with the Idaho State football program after 2 productive seasons with the Broncs. Cody was primarily a running team on offense but Hays was an all-conference quarterback in 3A with 10 touchdown passes, including a 4 TD pass game against Worland. He threw the ball for 874 yards in his senior season.
Hayes was also named all-conference as a junior at the quarterback spot with 8 touchdown passes and 87 all-purpose yards per game. He was also solid on the basketball floor as he led the Broncs in scoring and rebounding, averaging 11 points and 6 boards per game. Hayes did earn all-conference distinction for his efforts.
Both of his parents played at Idaho State with his father playing football and his mother playing volleyball.
