After getting shutout by the Warriors 1 week prior to this game, the Tigers regrouped and won the rematch in shutout style.

I don't know what game she's watching, but I can guarantee that she's getting great reception! Actually, I know what she's doing. Thank goodness the camera on top of that thing is really small.

#3 Worland at #4 Lander...first half...Lander wearing the white...it took awhile before anything happened, and Brennan Mazur will change all of that, with one very well placed kick! It doesn't get much better than that, and he has his team on the board first, up 1-nothing.

This was a make-up game from the beginning of the season...the original was called off before halftime, due to a storm, so they had to start over. Daniel Bolding may have wanted to start over on that shot, because it was right at Braedon Page. So the score would remain 1-zip, going into halftime.

Second half...both teams now going in the opposite direction...Bolding will give it another try, but this shot will skim off the cross bar...he was having a hard time catching a break, and I hate to say it, but that's soccer sometimes.

These 2 teams met one week prior to this contest...and Worland won that one. Jim Fehringer almost helped them out...he was trying to deflect the ball away and almost knocked it into his own net. He was counting his blessings afterwards, when it hit the cross bar, and bounced away from the net.

Later...the home team was at it again...this time Bolding is going to get the assist as he will center the ball...and watch the finish by Palmer Schafer...he squeezed in between the goalie and a defender to complete the connection. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. That would make this a 2-nothing game now.

Here comes more...and it's a little difficult to tell what happened, but it happened quickly...Jed Welsh had his initial shot blocked by a defender, but the rebound came right back to the freshman and he would connect on the second chance. Everything was going Lander's way, unlike last week. 3-zip is the score.

Meanwhile...the Warriors were just having a hard time getting on track in this game...and that resulted in very few scoring opportunities. Jacob Lamm had a pretty good shot, by going around the wall...but Abe Lowham had some room to maneuver and make the save. The Tigers would preserve the shutout and get the win...3-nil.
