Latest Regional Soccer Rankings

In the latest rankings from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), 3 Wyoming teams are ranked regionally.

In Region 3 Boys (Wyoming, Utah, Nebraska, Iowa), Riverton is ranked 6th, and Buffalo is ranked 7th. Riverton is listed with a record of 14-1-1, but actually they are 14-2-1 before the start of the state tournament. Buffalo is listed with a record of 13-1-1, when they are actually 12-1-1, before states.

In Region 6 Girls (Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, California, Washington), Gillette is ranked 10th, however the NSCAA says their record is 10-3. In truth, the Lady Camels have a record of 14-2, before the start of the state tournament.

The poll also lists Riverton girls at #10 as well, with a 10-2-1 record, but we feel this is a mistake, because Riverton's record before states is 9-6-1.
