Madisyn Baillie of Cheyenne Central Commits to Southern Utah

Cheyenne Central track athlete Madisyn Baillie will be taking her skills so Cedar City to compete for Southern Utah University. Baillie has enjoyed a solid career with the Indians as they have won the 4A State Championship for the last 2 years. At the 2022 4A State Meet, she placed 3rd in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.65, 5th in the 300-meter hurdles in 46.89, 5th in the high jump at 5 feet even, and ran the anchor leg on Central's 4x100 relay team that placed 6th. As a sophomore at the State Meet, Baillie was 8th in the 100-meter hurdles, 6th in the 300-meter hurdles, and took 3rd in the high jump, clearing 5-2.

She is a solid all-around athlete who has earned all-conference honors in basketball and volleyball. Southern Utah is a Division I school that will compete this season in the Western Athletic Conference
