The Mountain View girls basketball team had some unbelievable talent this season with 3 players that averaged in double figures. Hailey Stephens and Charity Harmon threw in 12 points per game while Lynedee Hereford averaged 10. Stephens and Harmon were named all-state as well as Ailee Bugas so the Buffs were a tough team to beat. Mountain View ended up 19-8 on the season and took 5th at the 3A State Tournament. In the opening round, the Buffaloes were downed by Buffalo 51-42, going just 4-14 from the free-throw line. Stephens and Harmon had 17 each in that contest. In the consolation round, Mountain View prevailed over Lander 46-23 with Stephens netting 15 and Harmon chipping in 10. The Buffs concluded tournament play with a hard-fought 41-39 win over Rawlins. Stephens once again led the way with 14 and Harmon was right behind her with 11. This was a senior-heavy group with a total of 7 so Mountain View had a major rebuilding effort coming next season.
