With two number one boys teams losing last week, the door was opened for new top teams this week.

In 3A  Lander got nine first place votes to Torrington’s six, but, the Tigers and Blazers are tied for #1 this week. Both tallied 216 points in the voting to share the top spot. Powell moves to third while last week’s #1 Star Valley is moved to fourth. Buffalo is back in the top five at #5 this week. Friday sees The Braves in Lander for a big 3A West contest, while Torrington hosts Wheatland on Saturday. The Bulldogs were bumped out of the top 5 after losing twice last week. Another game of note is on Friday, when Buffalo travels to Rawlins. The Outlaws are just outside the top 5, but more importantly, this game is a battle for 2nd place in the 3A East...and Rawlins won the first time in Buffalo.

The other changes are in 2A where Wind River is back on top. The Cougars took twelve of the eighteen #1 votes as Lovell got five and drops to 2nd. Wyoming Indian moved up to third, Burns to fourth and Moorcroft stays fifth. Both the Broncs and the Wolves have already clinched #1 seeds for the 2A East Regional tournament.

4A remained the same 1 through 3 with Evanston, Sheridan and Gillette.  East moved to fourth while Riverton revisits the polls in fifth.

1A is the same 1 through 4 as a week ago. Little Snake River is a unanimous #1 followed by Burlington, Midwest and NSI. The Oilers and Wolves meet each other Saturday at NSI. Ten Sleep is the new #5 team in 1A.
