Highlights of the Friday, January 4th Boys Basketball game, between #4 Cokeville at #3 Little Snake River.

Scroll down to watch highlights of the game.

The 2-time defending 1A boys state champs made quick work of their first Wyoming opponent of the season.

Nice to see the graduates of the last 2 championship teams back at home, seeing if their former team-mates can pick up where they left off.

#4 Cokeville at #3 Little Snake River….first quarter…Little Snake River wearing the white…Conner Lee will get the scoring started with a base-line drive and the Rattlers are on the board, leading 2-to-nothing.

…and they were just getting started…there’s another Lee on the team…that would be Grayson…he does one better with the long bomb…to put the 2-time defending 1A state champs up 5-zip.

The defense was ready to go as well…Manuel Quinteros saw that pass coming…swipes it…good ball control as he’ll get around the defender and get the finish…13 points for the senior and LSR is now up 7-to-nothing.

Cokeville needed to get some offense going soon, or else their undefeated record was going to be in big trouble. Cody Nate with the assist to Brendon Cook. That’s 2 of his 13, and the Panthers have some points…down 7-2…but then Garrett Grieve will light the fuse and boom! 19 points for the senior…and that’s how you get the momentum right back…it’s 10-to-2 at this point.

The Rattlers were ready for this one…it’s their first game against a Wyoming opponent and they had each other’s backs…Quinteros catches the miss and puts the toy away for another 2 points…home team is in command…12-to-2.

They were playing smart ball…you get a back-court turnover…you better cash in. The Lee boys do just that as Conner will get the points. He added in 12 for the cause and the lead is at 12…it’s 14-to-2.

We are still in the first quarter…and things are starting to get out of hand…Grieve…puts on a move or 2…gets more points…L-S-R is sending an early message and would eventually go up 20-to-2.

Little Snake River was choking the life out their opponent inside the Snake Pit…Quinteros gives it up…gets it back…scores again…his team could do no wrong with the scoreboard now reading 26-to-2.

The boys in black needed anything…because nothing has been working for too long…Braxton Delgado breaks the drought with a long 2, but his team needed way more than that, down 26-to-4.

As for the home team…they having a field day…Grieve is going to strike again with a long range 2 of his own…and mercifully…the first quarter finally ended…but not before the Rattlers ran over their opponent…28-to-4.

2nd quarter…we’re not going to show much else…this game is already over…but we’ll try to give Cokeville a little bit of love. Jonathan Fiscus was just inside the line so that goes down for 2…his team trails 30-to-7…but LSR kept right on going…Grieve again with the answer…despite the lopsided score…they kept their intensity…it’s 32-to-7.

The Rattlers just could not miss…Grieve is going to count to 3…and then he’s going to move the ball…through the net…this big game is a big bust…35-to-7.

Ok…that’s enough for the home team…we need to let the opposition get into double digit scoring. Nate was the only other player with 10 points or more, so we’ll give him this highlight…Panthers still down 35-to-9.

We’re not going to bother showing you the 2nd half…it was a waste of time. Nathan Cook will get the last basket of the half…the boys in black went into the locker room down 35-to-11…and when the dust settled…Little Snake River won this game in a rout…55-to-33.
