Sheridan punched their ticket to the 4A Boys semi-final round with a 73-61 win over Rock Springs on Thursday afternoon at the State Basketball Tournament. The Broncs led 32-16 at halftime but both teams combined for 51 points in the 4th quarter. Sheridan shot 41% from the floor hitting just 3 of 17 from 3 point land. But the Broncs had 3 guys in double figures led by Tristan Bower with 20, Parker Christensen with 15 abd Blayne Baker with 12. Rock Springs drops to 14-11 on the year and received 20 points from Graedyn Buell with 20 and Derek Lionberger chipped in 11. Sheridan gets to 19-7 on the season and will play Kelly Walsh in the semi-finals tomorrow at 7:30 at the Events Center.
