Little Snake River flexed their muscles in the opening round of the 1A Boys State Tournament with a resounding 72-46 win over Arvada Clearmont on Thursday at the Casper Events Center.

The Rattlers received a sensational performance by J.D. Corson who threw in 24 points on 7-17 from the field.

Kameron Evans also had a sharp game with 19 points and Thomas Duncan chipped in 17.

Arvada Clearmont was led in scoring by Clancy Kretschman with 12 points with Galen Kretschman adding 10.

The Panthers fall to 11-10 and will be in the consolation round tomorrow at Casper College.

Little Snake River improved to 16-9 and advanced to the 1A semi-finals Friday night at Kelly Walsh.
