Southeast Takes 1st in Kaycee Volleyball Jamboree
The Southeast Cyclones had a pretty good weekend at the Kaycee Volleyball Jamboree by taking 1st place in the gold bracket of a very tough tournament. On Friday in pool play, Southeast defeated Upton, HEM, and the Campbell County freshman. In bracket play on Saturday, it was more of the same as the Cyclones beat Rock River, Kaycee, and prevailed in the championship match over Hulett 25-22 and 25-19.
This team has a returning all-state player in Brenna Herring plus two all-conference performers in Sydney Anderson and Shelby Ekwall. This is a pretty good team that has all the right pieces in place to make a deep run in the State Tournament and maybe win it all in 1A.
