Indoor Track and Field

A multi-time state champion and outstanding thrower, Lander Valley High School's Adelyn Anderson was selected as the Gatorade award winner for Wyoming High School's girl's track and field player of the year in 2025-26.

The winners were chosen by their fellow WCA coaches. They will be recognized this summer in Casper.

Thunder Basin senior Grace Miller and Cheyenne East junior Dayton Rhoades got the awards based on their performances at the indoor track state championships last month.

The honor went to individuals who finished in the top two of events or were part of a winning relay at the 2026 Wyoming High School Indoor Track State Championships.

This was the fourth title in school history for the Broncs and fifth for the Fillies.

The Thunder Basin girls and Cheyenne East boys captured the team titles at the 2026 Wyoming High School Indoor Track 4A State Championships.

Thirty teams are competing in two classifications at this year’s state championships.

There are two indoor track meets on one day. Gillette and Laramie host the competitions.

Over 20 Wyoming High Schools will have an individual competing in this year's Simplot Games.

Evanston, Casper, and Gillette host events this week.
