The season ends with an eight-team, double-elimination state tournament bracket in Cheyenne.

Two wins and a team advances to the state tournament. Two losses and a team is eliminated.

Week 8 will extend a little into next week because weather postponements pushed a few games into early next week.

Besides a few conference and cross-quad games, the big events are the two softball invites in Cody and Gillette.

Every game on the schedule this week is a conference game. That includes some rescheduled games from earlier in the season.

This is rivalry week, as teams in Sweetwater County square off, plus Wheatland and Torrington, the Capital City rivalry between East and Central, the Casper schools, and the Gillette schools.

The Week 4 slate will see teams complete cross-quad action for the 2026 season.

Three quadrants are scheduled to play their first conference games of 2026. The weather might interfere.

This week’s schedule is spread across four days, with most teams playing on two dates. Four schools do not play this week.

The tournament is set up for the Northeast Quadrant teams to play the Southwest Quadrant, and the Northwest Quadrant to face the Southeast Quadrant.
