Heading into the next to last weekend of the regular season, the interesting matchups are starting to come up on the schedule.

Gillette is the unanimous #1 in the 4A ranks, although the poll is unchanged from last week. The Lady Camels wrap up their home schedule this weekend with South and Laramie. Their test comes next weekend when they visit #5 Central and #2 East. Speaking of which, the Lady T-Birds and the Lady Indians clash at Central on Thursday. #3 Evanston is home vs. Riverton on Saturday. Meanwhile #4 Kelly Walsh will look to avenge an earlier season conference loss to Rock Springs, when they visit the Lady Tigers on Friday.

All the interesting games in 3A are at the West Conference Duals as the northwest and southwest teams check out each other in Cody. #2 Star Valley will open up with #4 Powell, and the host Fillies who just missed out on the top 5. The east teams (#1 Douglas, #3 Glenrock, and #5 Torrington) will resume conference business this weekend.

Teams are trying to lock down seeds in 2A and 1A and avoid the play in games. Shoshoni still sits on top of Class 2A, and look to wrap up the southwest division, when they host #3 Kemmerer on Saturday. Southeast still holds at #2, while Wright slips to #4. Tongue River and Burns are tied at #5. Wright visits TR on Friday.

Perhaps the best matchups this weekend are in the 1A ranks. After going 1-3 last weekend at the Greybull Invite, Little Snake River has been unseated from the #1 spot, but the Lady Rattlers will get their chance this weekend to get it back. They play both teams from last year's title game, back to back. On Friday, they are at #5 Kaycee (last year's runner-ups) and then Saturday, home vs. the new #1 ranked team, Cokeville, last year's champs. It was a tight vote at the top of the polls, as 1 vote separated 1 from 2, and 1 vote separated 2 from 3. Lingle-Ft. Laramie is #3 and Dubois is #4.
