Women’s basketball rankings have but one new team in any of the top five lists of the Coaches and Media poll this week.

4A, Natrona is essentially a unanimous #1. The Fillies are followed by Gillette, Laramie, Sheridan and Rock Springs.  Its the same poll as a week ago. Laramie has a tough roadie coming up this week as the Lady Plainsmen visit both Sheridan and Gillette.

3A moves the 2 through 4 spots around. After Star Valley who took 15 of the 20 #1 votes, Wheatland is now second followed by Torrington. The Lady Bulldogs head to Blazer country on Saturday, in a battle for first place in the 3A East. Both move up one spot. Douglas falls to fourth this week while Cody remains fifth.

2A  has Lovell again a unanimous #1. The defending state champion Lady Bulldogs have held the top ranking the entire season so far. Tongue River is a solid second with all but 1 of the #2 votes. Pine Bluffs moves back up to third, Shoshoni to fourth while Wyoming Indian is back at #5.

1A is the same as last week with Little Snake River #1, then Burlington, Cokeville, Farson and Kaycee. Cokeville visits LSR on Friday and Farson goes to Baggs on Saturday. These games will have big implications on regional seeding out of the southwest division.
