Torrington:
Douglas went 5-0 in winning the Blazer Duals in Torrington. There were several wrestlers chosen as Outstanding while Andrew Snow of Cheyenne South was chosen for the Outstanding Sportsman.
Southeast:
Billings, Montana, Invite:
Gillette coach Tom Seamans felt his team probably couldn't win the Billings Invite, even though it wasn't as big as it has been in the past. He felt with some open weights and missing three wrestlers who he figured would be #1 ranked in the state, that it wouldn't happen. Gillette, however, won the Billings Invite for the fifth time in the last six years scoring 255.5 points. Billings Senior was second with 238 and Billings Skyview third with 220.5.
