Green River hosts one of the biggest events in the state this weekend in the Bill Thoman Memorial. It's sponsored by Wyoming Embroidery and Sporting Goods.    Douglas ended up winning the team title.

Wind River hosted their 35th annual Don Runner Memorial.    Greybull/Riverside came out on top with 179.5 points for first.  Lovell was second with 165.5.   Kelly Walsh was third with Cokeville fourth.   Kemmerer 145 pound champion Blake Mastrud was named the Outstanding Wrestler while Jacob Weyer of Wright had the most pins (4) in the least amount of time in 5:02.

Newcastle hosted their Dogie Invite on Friday.   The Sturgis Scoopers JV team took top honors from the day winning three titles.   Host Newcastle was second, also with three champions in Alex Rettinghouse, Merritt Crabtree,  and James Wineteer.  Wheatland was third with a champion,  Lusk was fourth.  Due to the amount of kids in a few weights,  they did round robin wrestling.   Some weights had more, some less, so true brackets weren't able to be wrestled.

Gillette trailed the 54th Annual Cowboy Invite in Miles City, MT, after Day 1, but, came back to take the team title.  The Camels scored 216.5 to Laurel's 184.  Powell tied Williston for 7th.    Sheridan was 13th while Cody tied for 21st and Buffalo was 23rd.    Gillette's Kris Miller won the 125 pound title and had the most pins the quickest amount of time for the tournament.   Dani Fischer and Tanner Olson also won titles for Gillette.  Sheridan's Derek Berrettini won at 119 for the Broncs.
