Addie Forry has enjoyed a productive basketball career for Laramie and will head to the East Coast to continue her career at the Maine Maritime Academy. Forry was an All-State selection in 4A in 2024 as she averaged 14.9 points per game, shooting 50% from the floor from the 2-point range. Her season high was a 41-point effort vs. Green River.

Forry was an All-State pick in 2023 as well when she averaged 19.3 points per game with 56% shooting from the field. Her best scoring effort in her junior year was 29 points vs. Rock Springs. She was named All-Conference in her sophomore year averaging 11.9 points per game. All told, she rang up over 1000 points in her career with the Plainsmen and will play in this summer's Wyoming-Montana All-Star games.

Forry is also an accomplished distance runner who competed in the 4A State Cross Country Meet in each of her 4 years in school. She placed 3rd at State in both her junior and sophomore seasons, 9th in her freshman year, and 20th as a senior. Forry will end her prep career next week at the State Outdoor Track Meet in Casper and has qualified for State in 7 different events.

Maine Maritime Academy is located in Castine and the Mariners compete at the Division III level in the North Atlantic Conference. The women's basketball team at MMA went 22-5 this past season and qualified for the D-III NCAA Tournament.
