It is the second to last week of the regular season, and a lot of key games remain entering Week 8 of the Wyoming High School softball season. The week starts with three weather-postponed matchups. Then, the weekend features regularly scheduled games. Three ranked teams are on the road on Friday and Saturday. Only two twin bills have ranked teams facing each other. The new softball poll will be released on Wednesday.

MONDAY, APRIL 29

Final Score: #2 Campbell County 5 #5 Wheatland 2 (conference game) - Down 2-1, a 3-run bottom of the 3rd helped the Camels to the win; A. Gray had 2 hits & 3 RBIs, plus got the win in the circle with 2 unearned runs allowed on 4 hits with 15 Ks and 2 walks; Kimbley added 4 hits (2B, 3B) & 3 runs scored.

Final Score: #2 Campbell County 12 #5 Wheatland 3 - With a 4-0 lead, the Camels scored 7 runs in the 3rd to pull away. Alexander had 3 hits & 3 RBIs. Campbell County took advantage of 8 walks, 3 SBs, and 3 errors.

TUESDAY, APRIL 30

Final Score: #4 Cody 14 Kelly Walsh 2 (conference game) - the Fillies scored 10 runs in the 1st and never looked back. Wollschlager had 4 hits & 3 RBIs as part of a 15-hit attack for Cody.

Final Score: Natrona County 14 Worland 2 (conference game) - NC scored 6 in the 1st and 8 runs in the 3rd for the win. Sale has 2 hits & 3 RBIs for the Fillies. Ransom & Parker added 3 hits & 1 RBI each for NC.

Final Score: #3 Cheyenne East 29 Cheyenne South 0 (conference game) - the T-Birds scored 14 in the 1st and rolled to the win. Bledsoe had 3 hits & 7 RBIs as part of a 19-hit attack. East also walked 14 times.

Final Score: Laramie 10 Cheyenne South 0 (conference game) - Kuhn pitches a perfect game for the Plainsmen; she helped herself at the plate with a triple & 2 RBIs.

FRIDAY, MAY 3

Final Score: #4 Cody 4 #5 Rock Springs 0 (conference game) - Simone threw a 3-hit shutout for the Fillies with 9 Ks.

Final Score: #4 Cody 12 #5 Rock Springs 2 - Fillies took the lead with a 5 run 2nd. Wollschlager hits for the cycle and drives in 4 runs. Nielsen added 4 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Wheatland 6 Cheyenne Central 1 - 8 inns. (conference game) - Mickelsen had the go-ahead RBI single for the Bulldogs. They added 3 more runs on an error in the 8th.

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 8 Wheatland 1 - Driver had 3 hits & 3 RBIs. Aragon added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Worland 12 Green River 7 (conference game) - Warriors took the lead with 3 runs in the 3rd and sealed it with 5 runs in the 6th. Galanz had 2 hits & 4 RBIs, Voyles added 3 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Green River 19 Worland 7 - Barajas had 2 hits & 5 RBIs for the Wolves.
