South’s First Varsity Football Year

Cheyenne South played varsity football for the first time in their young history this year. They did so with their third head coach in three years and, also without a Senior Class. They were beaten on average 52 to 4 each Friday, but Coach Tracy Pugh felt they got better each week.

The Bison have a great travel schedule for 2012 with trips to Central, East and to Laramie being their furthest road trips in the first five weeks. The only long road trips that the Bison have to worry about next season are at Gillette and at Rock Springs, but that isn't until the last 2 weeks of the regular season.
