The Worland Warriors are on an unprecedented streak for boys' soccer in Wyoming. They've gone 80 straight matches without a loss.

The Warriors have captured the last five straight Class 3A boys' soccer state championships, including last month's 3-1 win over Douglas in Green River.

Ironically, Worland won the title over the Bearcats in the last city where they suffered a loss.

Some think the mark is longer than what we've published over the last few years, but here's our proof.

This impressive streak began in the 2014 season. According to some sources, Worland went 14-0 that year, but that's not entirely accurate. Some matches are missing from the Warriors' 2014 campaign.

Worland opened that season with four wins before they took part in the Southwest Tournament on April 7 and 8, 2018, in Green River. The Warriors beat Rawlins and 4A Rock Springs in a shootout to reach the tournament's first-place match. That's where Worland fell to Green River by a final score of 2-1. The match was decided in a shootout, 4-2. Click here to look at the boys' soccer scoreboard for that week back in 2018. Below are two images from the scoreboard and another from the updated standings from that weekend.

Worland went on to win their final 11 matches in a row in 2018. They tacked on an 18-0 record in 2019, which extended the streak to 29 straight. After no season was played in 2020 due to the coronavirus cancelation, the Warriors went 17-0 in 2021. That pushed the streak to 46 in a row. The winning streak ended with a tie in 2022, but the unbeaten streak continued. After a 17-0-1 season, that made it 64 straight without a loss.

The 2023 season finished last month, and Worland went 15-0-1. The Warriors lost a few matches due to a tournament canceled because of the weather.

The streak is now 80 in a row over the last six seasons.

Worland's last loss was a 2-1 defeat to Lander on May 20, 2017, in the third-place match at the Class 3A boys state tournament.

The Warriors haven't lost since. That's an impressive streak at any level!
