Worland senior Madison Lloyd has decided to run track at Montana State University-Billings after high school.

Lloyd was an all-state selection during her junior outdoor track season in 2023. She ran on the 3A state champion 4x100 meter relay team that set a class record at 49.97 seconds.

Lloyd is a two-time qualifier for the state outdoor track meet. She was fifth in the 200-meter dash last year (26.65) at the state championships in Casper. Lloyd also placed eighth in the 100-meter and was on the fifth-place sprint medley relay team.

Lloyd had three top-3 finishes during the regular season last spring.

During the 2023 indoor track season, Lloyd was a member of Worland’s second-place 4x200-meter relay squad. She was also 11th in the 55-meter dash at the state indoor track meet.
