Alex Haswell of Sheridan Signs with UW for Football

Sheridan football player Alex Haswell will be living the dream as he has officially signed on with the Wyoming Cowboys. Haswell was an All-State selection on both the offensive line and defensive line for the Broncs who repeated as the 4A State Champions in 2023. Haswell, at 6-5, 230 pounds was a big reason why Sheridan led 4A in rushing with the Broncs ringing up 52 touchdowns on the ground.

Haswell displayed that strength and leverage on the defensive line with 34 tackles, 7 of them for loss. The Broncs, by the way, had the #1 rushing defense in 4A this past season. He was a unanimous selection for the 4A Lineman of the Year.

In his junior season, he was named 1st team All-State on the defensive line and 2nd team All-State on the offensive line. Haswell has also played basketball and soccer in his prep career.
