Kemmerer senior Chase Bowen became a member of the 1000-point club during the 2024 season. He accomplished the feat in a game at the 2A West Regional Basketball Tournament in Riverton against St. Stephens on Feb. 24, 2024. Bowen scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the game. It helped the Rangers clinch a spot at the 2A state basketball tournament.

Bowen was an all-state choice by the coaches this season. He averaged 20.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. Bowen ranked second in Class 2A in scoring and led the class in rebounding. He shot 43 percent from the floor and 68 percent at the foul line. Bowen added 2 assists and 2.1 steals per game. He scored a career-best 34 points against Uintah, UT on Dec. 8, 2023. Twice, Bowen grabbed 18 rebounds in a game this season. The first time was against St. Stephens, and the second was against Wyoming Indian. He had the top-five scoring and rebounding games for the Rangers in the 2023-24 season.
