There are always great performances on the hardwood around the state.  Each week we’ll highlight some of them!

There are always great performances on the hardwood around the state.  Each week we’ll highlight some of them!     Keep in mind these are the highlights from teams that send their stats into the stat collection center.   We rely on coaches to send in game information each week.

Points:  

BOYS:   51.  That is what Kolter Leseberg of Dubois scored in his team’s 86-56 win over Ten Sleep.  He hit 9 of 13 three’s and was 10 of 13 from the 2 pt range with 4 of 8 free throws going down.  The previous high this season was 44 from CJ Smith of Rock River in a 71 to 68 triple overtime win.     Powell’s Kalei Smith scored 35 vs Lovell while Dylan Collins of Arvada/Clearmont scored 35 in a 2 point loss to NSI.

GIRLS:    Lydia Skalberg of Snake River tallied 27 points in a win over A/C.  Bailey Forney of Rawlins scored 26 as did Kemmerer’s Abby Brunski.  Megan Sims of Big Piney scored 25 in a conference win over Wind River.

Three’s:

BOYS:  Kolter Leseberg of Dubois hit 9 of 13.  Treasure Hollister of Guernsey was 6 for 8.  Kendrick Jackson of Wheatland was 5 for 8.

GIRLS:  Abby Brunski of Kemmerer was 5 for 9 with Bailey Forner of Rawlins shot 3 for 6.

Free Throws:  

BOYS:    Dylan Collins of Arvada/Clearmont was 20 for 22 in a game over the weekend.   Jordan Banks of Big PIney had back to back games with 10 of 12 vs Wind River and then 10 of 13 vs WIHS.  

GIRLS:    Lexi Julian, Kemmerer, 12 of 16.   Bailey Forney, Rawlins, 9 for 10.  Haley Schneider of Worland was 7 for 9.

Rebounds:

BOYS:  Hunter Thompson of Pine Bluffs grabbed 17 boards vs Lusk.  9 of them were on the offensive end in a 4 point win.   Glenrock’s Jordan Millay had 16 boards vs Torrington while Reed Hampton of Ten Sleep had 16 vs St Stephens.

GIRLS:    Courtney Kudera of Snake River had 16 boards, 8 on each end of the floor, vs A/C.   Nikky Johnson of Jackson had 15.

Steals:  

BOYS:   Scott Broyles of Rock River had 7 steals.  Triston Parrish of Shoshoni had 6 as did Riverton’s Brandon Fullterton.

GIRLS:   Jaci Christiansen of Burlington had 14 steals vs Meeteetse.     

 

Assists:   

BOYS:    Wind River’s Caleb C’Bearing had 15 assists in a win on Saturday.   Gary Medicine Cloud of Shoshoni had 10 vs Lyman.

GIRLS:   Olivia Thompson of Shoshoni had 7 assists.   Lydia Skalberg of LSR and Lilbit Lynch each had 6.

Worth Noting:

Taylor Meeks of Mountain View had 11 blocks against rival Lyman.  She also had 8 points and 7 rebounds.
