A number of topics were discussed at the Wyoming High School Activities Association Board of Directors meeting.

Jackson Senior Oliver Scofield Named Boys Cross Country Gatorade Runner of the Year

In its 27th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with ESPNHS, announced Oliver Scofield of Jackson Hole HS as its 2011-12 Gatorade Wyoming Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year.

Star Valley High School Standout Named Gatorade Wyoming Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year.

State XC Results

Beautiful weather graced the runners in Douglas for the 2011 State Cross Country Championships.  Among the highlights were repeat title wins by the Wyoming Indian boys (who have won five in a row, 9 of the last 10), Jackson's Boys, and the Pine Bluffs girls

State XC Preview

Cross Country ends their season Saturday in Douglas.   Several individuals are back to defend their titles.  Lovell’s Collin May is back for another shot at a 2A boys title while Pine Bluffs sophomore Austin May looks for the same on the girls side

Regional Cross Country Results

4A East

Central's Mike Nelson and Abby Phillips of Gillette would win individual titles.  Central also won the boy's crown as Gillette did the girls.  The Lady Camels would go 1-2-3 followed by Laramie who was 4-5-6.  Gillette also

XC Results Oct 6,7, and 8

Leroy Sprague Invite in Cheyenne

The Gillette girls put five runners in the top six places at the Cheyenne event.   Abby Phillips would cross the line first.  On the boy's side, East's Michael Kesy was first.

Michelle Ludwig Invite - Sheridan:

Gillette's Jamon Rodrigues won the boy's race while Cody sophomore Anne Brinegar won the girls race.    Both Gillette teams would take the team titles.
