Gable to Speak to WCA

The Wyoming Coaches Association would like to announce that Dan Gable, former Iowa Hawkeye coach and Olympic Gold Medalist will be speaking during Clinic Week  2011.  Coach Gable will be at the clinic on Friday, July 22nd @ 8:30am

WY Legislature To Discuss Concussion Bill

It's not often that Wyoming sports are the topic of discussion within the Wyoming Legislature, but now might not be a bad time, before other athletes end up in a world of pain and/or forgetfulness!

One of the many bills to be discussed by the 2011 Wyoming Legislature, is Senate File 38 (aka the Concussion Bill)

Shrine Bowl Coaches Announce Staff

T. J. Claunch Executive Director of the Shrine Bowl Of Wyoming reported today that the North Teams Head Coach, John Cundall of Greybull and South Teams Head Coach, Pat Fackrell of Evanston, have selected their staff for the 2011 all star game to be played in Casper on June 11, 2011

UW Wants Football Championships To Stay In Laramie

The University of Wyoming wants to be the permanent host for the Wyoming High School Football State Championships each November.

The Wyoming High School Activities Association would prefer all five state championship games to be played at the same venue over a two-day period

Bobcats Repeat as 2A Champs

The Thermopolis Bobcats won the 2A Football Championship by defeating the Big Horn Rams 13-9.

Big Horn took the lead on their first possession with a 28 yd field goal which capped off a 60 yd drive and take a 3-0 lead into the second quarter

Bearcats Win Third Straight 3A Title

Douglas came back from a 14 point deficit to win their 30th straight game and 3rd consecutive State 3A Football Championship.
