For the first time since 2012, the 4A and 3A State Championship Tournament are in the same place, as the Big Horn Equestrian Center will host the 2016 tournament.
Soccer is the only Wyoming High School Spring Sport to not yet crown state champions, but that will change soon.
Half of the teams that will play in the upcoming state tournament have already qualified, and now it's time to determine the other half and seed them.
That time in the season has come, where the teams themselves will determine which one is really #1 and not rely on the coaches/media rankings anymore.
In its 31st year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with USA TODAY High School Sports, announced Robbi Ryan of Sheridan High School as its 2015-16 Gatorade Wyoming Girls Soccer Player of the Year.
There is one game scheduled on May 16 and 17, but the outcome will have no impact on post-season match-ups.
There's not much time remaining for teams to try to get a better spot for the post-season.
Most of the teams in the latest coaches/media rankings, have already locked up their spot in the upcoming post-season and three of the 4 #1's are unanimous.
Post-season brackets are beginning to take shape.
