This week is an off week for cowboys and cowgirls, as they prepare for the State Finals Rodeo, which runs from June 12-14 at the State Fairgrounds in Douglas.
Cowboys and cowgirls will spend this weekend in Douglas, getting a feel of the location of the State High School Finals, which will be held in 2 weeks.
It's a 3-day weekend, and that means cowboys and cowgirls have an extra day of competition.
There's a little less than one month to go, before the state finals.
Cowboys and cowgirls will stay in the northeast part of the state, as Gillette will host this weekend's competition.
