Jordan Griess is an exceptional all-around athlete was an all-state soccer player for the Cheyenne East in the 2023 season, plus she was an all-state basketball player for Burns this past year. Soccer is her sport of choice and has signed on with the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

In her junior season in soccer, Griess found the net 7 times along with 15 assists from the midfield/forward spot and Cheyenne East placed 4th at the 4A State Tournament. In her sophomore season, she rang up a half-a-dozen goals and earned all-conference distinction. In addition to her prep soccer experience, Griess has also played at the club level.

She's been a stalwart in basketball for Burns High School as she averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds per game this past season as the Broncs won the 2A State Championship over Lingle-Fort Laramie. She earned all-state status, leading the team in assists and steals.

Griess is one of two in-state soccer signees for UW; the other being Peyton Hill of Kelly Walsh
