Legion Baseball A State Tournament 2015
Now that they have lights, the town of Cowley gets to host the best A-League teams in the state!
Lovell will serve as the host of the 2015 Wyoming American Legion Baseball A-League State Tournament.
It is double elimination format.
All games are 9 innings.
The state champ not only qualifies for the A-League Northwest Regional Tournament in Logan, UT, they also get to play in the 'AA' State Tournament at Sheridan.

Evanston Outlaws 11 Riverton Raiders 1 - Riverton Eliminated. Evanston wins first game at state tournament in 16 years. Braedon MacDonald strikes out 10 in 6 innings of pitching.
Lovell Mustangs 5 Cheyenne Hawks 2 - Cheyenne Eliminated.

Thursday, July 23:
Green River Knights 11 Lovell Mustangs 8 - 10 innings Lovell Eliminated. GR was down 8-4 going into the bottom of the 9th. Isiah Munoz (GR) with a walk-off 3-run HR in the bottom of the 10th.
Evanston Outlaws 9 Wheatland Lobos 3 - Wheatland Eliminated.
Green River Knights 15 Evanston Outlaws 2 - Evanston Eliminated. Isiah Munoz (GR) with a Grand Slam.
Cody Cubs 13 Gillette Rustlers 3 - Cody is in the championship game for the 3rd straight year (won last year). It was 2-1 going into the bottom of the 6th inning. Cody then scored 11.
Friday, July 24:
Green River Knights 16 Gillette Rustlers 6 - Gillette Eliminated. Green River is in the championship game.
Cody Cubs 10 Green River Knights 3 - Cubs repeat as state champs. John Beaudrie pitches a complete game 9-innings. Cody outscores the competition in the tournament, 49-7.
John Beaudrie of Cody named tournament MVP, while the Lovell Mustangs win the A-League Sportsmanship Award.
