It's time to crown the top AA and A-League teams in the state, and send them off to the regional tournaments.

AA teams will play their state tournament in Gillette, while the A teams will gather in Laramie.

The tournament is double-elimination format.

Afterwards, it's not over for the champs, as they will advance to Northwest Regional Tournaments to be played in Eugene, Oregon (AA state champ) and in Anchorage, Alaska (A state champ).

Gillette Roughriders 6 Casper Oilers 1 - Championship. Tanner Rogen pitches a complete game and is named AA MVP. Sheridan Troopers awarded AA Sportsmanship Award. Gillette qualifies for the AA NW Regional Tournament, to be played in Eugene, Oregon. First game is Thursday, August 7 vs. Washington State Champ.

 

A at Laramie:

The tournament was supposed to start on Wednesday, July 30, but due to weather and field conditions, everything has been pushed back 1 day.

Cody Cubs 15 Powell Pioneers 1 - Championship. Cody wins first title since 1989, and it just so happens, the last time they won it, that tournament was also played in Laramie. John Beaudrie of Cody, named A-League MVP. The Cubs also won the A-League sportsmanship award, and qualify for the A-League Northwest Regional Tournament to be played in Anchorage, Alaska. Game 1 will be played on Friday, August 8th at 2:00pm Mountain Time (Noon Alaska Time) vs. the Oregon A-League State Champ.
