There was only one change in the new WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football Poll revealed on Wednesday.

Four of the five classifications had zero difference from the preseason rankings that came out on Aug. 21.

The one exception was in Class 1A-6 Man. The top four stayed the same. Two-time defending champion Little Snake River was still at No. 1. The Rattlers earned 14 of the 15 first-place votes. Dubois maintained a slim edge over Burlington for second versus third. Encampment got the other first-place vote and held in fourth. The change was the Meeteetse Longhorns entered the top five at No. 5 after a Week 0 victory over the Cody JV.

The rest of the 20 teams did not move.

Class 1A-9 Man saw Pine Bluffs still at the top with 14 of the 18 first-place votes. They are followed by Big Piney, Wind River, Southeast, and Lingle-Ft. Laramie.

In 2A, Lyman held first with nine of the 23 first-place votes. They were one of four teams that picked up votes for the top spot. Defending champ Big Horn was second. Then it was Mountain View, Lovell, and Tongue River, third, fourth, and fifth.

Defending champ Star Valley received 20 of the 22 first-place votes at stayed at the top of Class 3A. The rest were Cody, Douglas, Powell, and Buffalo.

Finally in Class 4A, Cheyenne East kept the No. 1 ranking with nine first-place votes. Two-time defending champion Sheridan remained second. Natrona County and Thunder Basin were third and fourth. Despite a loss last week to the Broncs, Cheyenne Central held onto the fifth spot.
