Encampment is keeping pace in the 1A 6-Man South division and that's a tough group to compete with. The Tigers downed Kaycee over the weekend 61-27 to improve to 5-0 on the season. After a close first quarter, Encampment outscored Kaycee 39-6 from the 2nd quarter through the end of the game.

The Tigers have no shortage of offensive firepower with returning all-state running back Quade Jordan. Coming into the Kaycee game, he was averaging 126 yards rushing per game and he's difficult to bring down. Receiver Kaben Pickett is a returning all-state player as well plus Encampment has gotten some quality play from the quarterback spot. Gunner Henrie has been averaging 136 yards through the air and the Tigers have the #1 passing attack in 6-Man football.

Encampment will have a humongous game this week at defending 6-Man state champion Little Snake River. Kaycee is 4-2 on the year and saw their 4-game winning streak snapped over the weekend. It won't get any easier for the Bucs with a Friday matinee game against a good Burlington team.
