PhotoFest: Powell Dominates Again to Stay Undefeated in 3A

Powell has been lighting up opponents in 3A football with 4 straight lop-sided wins. The last win was a 44-3 decision over Green River on Friday. The Panther defense has been exceptional this season as they have allowed just 10 points in the last 4 games. Green River was 0-10 throwing the football and accumulated just 81 yards of total offense.

Powell's offense has been anchored by quarterback Jhett Schwahn and receiver Trey Stenerson. Entering the Green River game, the Panthers had the #3 offense in 3A and the #3 defense too.

This week, Powell at 5-0 will have a big challenge as they travel to Afton to meet defending 3A champion Star Valley. The Braves come into that game at 4-1. Green River is 1-3 and has lost their last 3 in a row with a tough home game on Friday vs. Cody.
