Saratoga Wrestler Josiah Stockwell Seeks the Next Big Step
Josiah Stockwell of Saratoga has been polishing his wrestling skills since middle school and the seniors wants to end his prep career with a spot on top of the podium. So far this season, Stockwell has a 4th place finish at 113 pounds at the Don Runner Tournament at Wind River and placed 6th at 113 in a very, very competitive field at the Lander Invite. So far this season he is 19-5.
Last season he took 3rd at the 2A State Tournament at 113 pounds and finished with a record of 23-9. He was the 2A runner-up at 106 pounds as a freshman so he can make some noise at next month's State Tournament in Casper.
Every day is a learning experience on the mat and Stockwell is poised to make a statement in his senior year.
