There's been a bit of stir in the latest coaches/media volleyball rankings, but all 4 #1's kept their spots.

Kelly Walsh takes the #1 ranking, heading into quadrant play this weekend at Cody and home vs. Riverton. Star Valley moves up to #2, after winning their 10th straight match in sweeping fashion. They will have this weekend off. The 4A match of the week is on Saturday, when #3 Thunder Basin visits #4 Laramie. Cheyenne Central slips from #2 to #5, after being swept at home by the Lady Plainsmen last week.

2 of the top 4 3A teams collide Thursday night, when undefeated and unanimous #1 Lyman, visits #4 Mountain View. Elsewhere, Rawlins and Douglas are unanimous #2 and #3 respectively, while Powell now has #5 to themselves after beating Lander last week, for that spot.

#1 and #2 stayed the same in 2A, but the other 3 teams played some musical chairs. Pine Bluffs and Wright retain the top 2 spots. Both teams will be at the Lusk Invitational this weekend, and are scheduled to play each other, in their 2nd game of the day. Greybull moves up to #3 after their big NW win vs. former #3 Rocky Mountain, who drops to #5, which means the #4 ranking is held by Glenrock.

The defending 1A state champs flexed their muscles this past weekend. #1 Cokeville went on the road and swept #2 Saratoga, meaning the Lady Panthers from Lincoln County are still the team to beat. Lingle-Ft. Laramie is now in at #3, and so it Meeteetse at #5, while Kaycee falls to #4, after losing at home vs. unranked Arvada-Clearmont.
