The Big Horn Rams took 3rd place at this year's 2A state tournament and that was their best finish since 2013. They had two, all-state players on the squad, Quinn McCafferty who averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds a game as well as Carson Bates who averaged 8.5 points per contest. The Rams also had a couple of all-conference selections in James Richards and Ayden Philips. Richards averaged 9.5 points per game.

In the opening round of the 2A state tournament, Big Horn downed Kemmerer 53-45 as Richards paced the Rams with 21 points and was 5-11 from the 3 point line. In the 2A semi-finals, Big Horn met Wyoming Indian with the Chiefs winning a thrilling game 63-61. Big Horn had 4 guys in double figures in that game as Bates had 16, Philips and McCafferty had 15 each with Bates chipping in 13. A late Ram rally wasn't enough in this game.

In the 3rd place game, Big Horn defeated Southeast 49-36 to finish the year 18-8. Richards had 12 in that game for the Rams while Cutler Bradshaw pulled down 10 rebounds.

The team has some rebuilding to do for next season with McCafferty graduating. But Bates, Richards and Ayden Philips return as seniors. The Rams should be pretty good in 2020-21
