Roberts also beat Sam Thornhill of Rock Springs with a pin and he was also a semi-finalist at the Ron Thon. Plus Roberts downed Sage Lonn of Rawlins 5-1 and Lonn is the defending 3A state champion at 152 pounds. So far this season, he is 35-3.

Roberts took 2nd at the Ron Thon this year at 175, losing a grueling 3-0 decision to Dane Steel of Sheridan. He also placed 2nd at the 2023 3A State Tournament dropping a tough match to Lane Ewing of Douglas, Roberts rang up a record of 47-11 last season. In his sophomore season. he was 3rd in the 4A 145-pound bracket going 37016 and went 0-2 at State in his freshman season with an overall record of 20-13.
