The Greybull girls went 1-2 in the 2A state tournament with 2 narrow loses but that should take away from the fact that that the Buffs went 20-8 on the year. Greybull lost their quarterfinal round game to Lusk 42-38 and came up with a furious 4th quarter rally to outscore the Tigers 18-9 in the final stanza. At one point, the Lady Buffs trailed by 20 points in that game. Kendall Wright led Greybull with 12 points and Payten Sorensen had 10. In the consolation round, Greybull had a strong 1st quarter and a strong 4th quarter to upend Shoshoni 55-42. Kendall Wright had 20 in that game and connected 4 times from the 3 point line. The Buffs had a rough shooting day in the 5th./6th place game as they lost to Big Horn 32-31. The Buffaloes shot just 20% from the field with Sorensen leading the way with 10. Kendall Wright made all-state averaging 13 points a game and Tatum Edeler also was an all-state pick. Both of those girls were seniors, among 5 that the team had this past season.
